By manufacturing locally, Angela keeps a close eye on the quality of her work and the materials she uses. Through careful sourcing, she uses luxuriously soft-touch materials because she believes a woman should feel as good as she looks. The collections are based on a timeless approach, with classic silhouettes and a mainly neutral palette. Anjé's simple yet chic style will accompany you from day to night and from season to season. By injecting seasonal styles into the mix, the brand caters to the classic jet set and fashionistas. Whatever the taste, Anjé strives to inspire and empower women from all walks of life, reminding them to be true to themselves and confident in their skin. Unlike so many who dream of working in the exciting and competitive world of fashion, Angela Neil spent her time on pageants of a different kind. As a gymnast, she learned discipline and a willingness to work hard for the best results. She later realized that learning more about fashion had always been her true passion. Taking a very different route than most fashion designers, Angela Neil went on to pursue a business degree rather than a fashion degree. Wanting to run her own business from a young age, Angela knew she had to start small and work her way up to truly understand the wild world of fashion. Working at The Limited Design Studio allowed her to experience the corporate side of fashion, while spending many years at a large T-shirt factory gave her a manufacturer's approach to fashion, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the business. She was also able to become an expert working with national and international factories on samples and deliveries. Managing the production schedule was a crucial part of her role, and understanding the importance of deliveries helped her build a solid foundation for the business. In 2014, almost ten years later, Angela decided to take the knowledge accumulated in her career and her passion to leave an undeniable impact on the world of fashion with the creation of Anjé. Her goal was to create an American-made collection focused on classic and fashion-forward pieces that are made to go with you through every season.
